What this preview checks
Titles, price, SKU, status, online-store publication, numeric inventory and option name/value differences. Matching uses handle + option tuple, with a clearly flagged SKU candidate when options change.
What needs another workflow
Images, metafields, market pricing, multi-location inventory, third-party app dependencies and full Shopify import semantics. New or changed handles need manual review. Missing rows do not establish product deletion. Extra image-only rows are skipped.
Blank cells and missing columns are different. Unchecked columns are listed in your report. Always back up, inspect the original CSV and test a subset in a dev store.
